Our client is an Australian leading innovator of mining crushing machinery whereby due to pure growth the Regional Manager is seeking an Account Manager to join the team and offer their Tier 1 and Tier 2 & 3 Mining and Oil & Gas clients first class service and leverage out the relationships further.

The team thrives in a respectful, safe, and collaborative environment—where passion for service, attention to detail, and strong partnerships set us apart. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Account Manager – Major Accounts to join their well-established and rapidly expanding business.

About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role focuses on managing key major accounts and providing exceptional service to Tier 1, Tier 2 & Tier 3 mining and resources customers – all around the WA region – so plenty of travel involved!

This position suits someone who values accuracy, structure, and consistency. The work is process-driven and precise, with clear standards to meet and routines that allow for forward planning. While the pace can be fast due to industry demands, success comes from working steadily, thoroughly, and with a commitment to doing things right the first time. Daily interaction with customers and distributors is a core part of the role, conducted in a professional yet friendly and helpful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of major customer accounts within the mining and resources sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Negotiate supplier pricing to secure the best commercial outcomes.
  • Apply technical and analytical skills within established systems and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and customer needs simultaneously.

You’re someone who takes pride in doing things efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard. Bring your natural people and BDM skills to this role and leverage out the Top Tier 1, 2 & 3 Accounts across the WA region.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Highly regarded experience within the Mining, Oil & Gas Industries
  • Proven strong Business Development and Account Manager skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (minimum).
  • High level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
