The company 
An award-winning Tier 2 Construction Company is looking for a Finance Manager with a background in Construction to join their close-knit team.

Based in Sydney, this company as an excellent reputation in their industry of New Build Commercial and Multi-unit residential projects up to $50 million in Value. 

This full time/long term position will suit someone who is a fully qualified finance manager.

The role
This hands-on role will require someone that is a hardworking individual who can thrive in a small team with a positive attitude to work against deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Monthly & Annual financial reporting
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Consolidated management accounts
  • Project reporting
  • Annual QBCC financial reporting & monitoring of financial ratios monthly
  • Annual Income Tax return preparation for the group companies
  • Key user for financial & project management system
  • Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll
  • Asset Purchase
  • Liaise with financiers to obtain asset finance
  • Reporting on financial liabilities
  • Recording of interest on liabilities
  • Bank Covenant reporting
  • Update PPSR
  • Preparation & lodgement of BAS, FBT, other reporting to ATO
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
  • Private entity / company tax experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiar with procor
  • Ability to engage effectively with internal / external stakeholders
  • Exposure of managing Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and payroll teams
  • Ability to embrace working in a close-knit team and a passion for the Construction industry
  • Be a confident operator to make Financial improvements for the business
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of self-motivation
