The Opportunity: Are you a detail-orientated Financial Accountant looking to take ownership of core finance processes within a dynamic construction environment?
Reporting to the CFO you’ll play a key role in managing financial data, compliance and reporting, across the growing portfolio of construction and development projects. You’ll be supported by strong systems, including Jobpac, as you contribute to the financial strength and strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing accurate financial data entry and reporting using Jobpac software.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monthly reporting package
• Budgeting, forecasting and analysis
• Handling general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with the CFO team.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax obligation including GST, BAS, PAYG, and corporate tax.
• Collaborating with project and site teams to provide accurate, timely project specific financial reporting.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and improve Jobpac system use.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally in construction or property development sector.
• Proficiency with Jobpac (highly regarded)
• CA/CPA qualified
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
