Insolvency Accountant  - Perth

Our client is currently working on an excellent opportunity for a professional who has experience in Insolvency Accounting to join their team as a Senior Insolvency Accountant. This role will sit within the Perth office, with a focus on supporting registered liquidators and bankruptcy trustees. 

They are a well-established business, with a fantastic track record in offering accountancy services to a variety of industries. This role is a great opportunity for a skilled, competent accountant to join a rapidly expanding team in the ever-changing and growing insolvency field. The ideal candidate would have ideally worked in a large insolvency firm or an accounting firm with a similar client base. We are looking for individuals that are committed and enthusiastic about accountancy, and who can be flexible and adaptable working in a continuously changing environment.

The role will include:
  • Applying appropriate controls to client engagements
  • Assisting in the preparation of the budgets and cash flows
  • Preparing draft reports to lenders and creditors
  • Compiling information, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations
  • Building and developing relationships with clients including promoting the business restructuring offering
  • Ensuring all working papers are accurate and the file is maintained in an appropriate manner
  • Ensuring investigations are completed and any identified contraventions are reported on a timely basis
The candidate should have the following to bring to the role to ensure they are successful:
  • Work experience in a similar role from 1-4 years
  • Degree-qualified in the relevant area
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Ability to work as a team and independently as required
  • Strong communication with clients and team members to ensure strong relationships
  • High attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work
