Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Leading Hand Electrician to join the team!! Our partner, a leading electrical company, is known for handling exciting projects and delivering top-notch electrical solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise electrical work and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians on various projects
  • Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for various clients
  • Handle lighting and power systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
  • Manage temporary power supplies for construction and other projects
  • Oversee switchboard upgrades and fit-outs, ensuring all work is completed to high standards
  • Utilize your open cabler endorsement to manage communication cabling projects (bonus!)
  • Ensure all work complies with strict safety regulations and electrical codes
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
  • Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely completion of work
  • Mentor and train junior electricians, promoting a culture of safety and excellence
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to ensure project success
Qualifications:
  • Valid NSW electrical license
  • EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certificate is a plus
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising electrical teams
  • Proficient in a wide range of electrical tasks, including communication cabling
  • Up-to-date knowledge of NSW electrical standards and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, electrical schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and company policies
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working well with others
