A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a highly regarded mechanical services contractor delivering major commercial HVAC projects across Melbourne.

This role will suit a proven Mechanical Project Manager with strong commercial HVAC experience who is looking to take ownership of significant projects within a Tier 1 construction environment.

You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, working closely with builders, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver high quality mechanical outcomes across complex commercial developments.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing commercial HVAC projects from design coordination through to completion and handover
• Overseeing project programs, budgets, procurement, variations and commercial outcomes
• Coordinating builders, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Reviewing designs, resolving technical challenges and ensuring quality project delivery
• Leading project teams and maintaining strong project relationships
• Driving safety, compliance and successful project outcomes

About You
You will be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a background delivering commercial HVAC projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 mechanical contractor.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Demonstrated local Australian experience delivering commercial HVAC projects
• Strong experience managing large scale mechanical HVAC projects
• Solid understanding of Australian construction processes, standards and project requirements
• Strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical services delivery
• Proven ability to manage programs, budgets, contracts and project deliverables
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across builders, consultants, subcontractors and clients
• Experience leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders
• A track record of delivering projects safely, successfully and commercially

Experience across sectors including commercial towers, healthcare, education, data centres, infrastructure or major developments will be highly regarded.
