Job Description

This boutique construction management company has been around over 10+ years delivering high quality commercial hospitality projects. Based on the runway of work lined up for 2026, they are in need of an additional staff member to cope. 

Tasks & responsibilities
Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning & executing projects & provide administrative
support to the project team
Track project progress & update project schedules & end of month reports.
Maintain accurate & up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits & project
general documentation.
Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, & taking minutes.
Liaise with subcontractors & suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets & cost tracking.
Collate job costs & timesheets for project tracking & reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & safety regulations.
Preparing, collating & evaluating tender documentation
Preparation of subcontractor packages, assisting with scopes and working on lettings &
procurement schedules.
Subcontract claims assessment including variation review
Head contract progress claim assistance & external variations.

Position offer
Project Coordinator/Administrator Position (Construction)
Full time (part time on offer for final or close to being completed university degree cand
Salary package $75,000 – $110,000 per year (full time) pending experience & qualifications
Company laptop provided
Mobile phone expenses paid
Training provided for construction software packages
Monday to Friday work days based on normal construction office working hours
Gain strong exposure to construction projects working with experienced and qualified project
managers
Flexibility within a relaxed working environment in modern commercial offices

Who are you? 

-Must have previous project administration and/or project coordination
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator preferably within commercial build or fitout.
Tertiary qualifications in a construction management
Strong attention to detail including high level written & verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills & a high level of integrity & professionalism
