My client is one of the world’s premier manufacturer of Geared Motors, Electric Motors, Drive Electrics and more! Their company has a high reputation in the market place for product quality and service. They are seeking an external sales engineer to join their national team based in Brisbane.  

The role:

• Reporting to the Director – you will drive sales of their superior product range into
  • o Intralogistics
  • o Food & Beverage
  • o Steels & Metals
  • o Distributor networks
• Prospect, qualify, close and process power transmission applications in industries mentioned above.
• Analyse market conditions and develop business plans and coordinate its implementation.
• Identify customer needs, propose solutions and close orders for assigned products.
• Provide technical support whilst achieving set sales targets for your designated territory.

The Candidate:

• 3+ years in a sales role, selling any type of industrial mechanical product solution, such as:
  • o Power Transmission
  • o Variable Speed Drives
  • o Mechanical gear boxes and electric motors
• Must be reliable and good operator with a solid track record in sales and business development
• Strong planning and executing skills
• Seeking candidates with a dynamic flair in sales, with effective communication skills for negotiation.
• Candidate with a Mechanical or Electrical qualification needed. Mechatronics is ideal but not a must.
• Must be a team player
