Our client, a global distributor of Commodity and Specialty Chemicals, well respected in the industry, seeks a Senior Account Manager for their Brisbane Office.

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specific patch of clients within the mining sector in Queensland. Utilizing their technical background and extensive contacts within this market, they will consult, present, and problem-solve on a technical level to provide solutions and formulations of our range of chemicals to mining clients across the state.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in selling chemicals used in mining processes essential. 
• Tertiary Qualification in chemistry or science highly regarded.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships within the mining sector.
• Strong business acumen & excellent communication skills.
• A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, understanding the sales processes within the mining market.
• Ability to work autonomously and plan their workday/week to deliver a high degree of customer engagement.
