Senior Associate / Special Counsel | Workplace Relations, Employment & WHS

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its highly regarded national team.

The Opportunity

Working alongside approximately 15 Partners and a national team of 75–80 lawyers, you'll advise and represent employers across a broad range of workplace matters, including:

• Employment Law
• Workplace Relations
• Industrial Relations
• Work Health & Safety (WHS)
• Workplace Investigations
• Employment Litigation
• Enterprise Bargaining
• Discrimination and Adverse Action Claims
• Government and Public Sector Employment Matters

This role offers exposure to complex, high-profile advisory and litigation matters while working with some of Australia's leading workplace lawyers.


About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Senior Associate: 5–8+ years' PAE
• Special Counsel: 8+ years' PAE
• Strong Employment and Workplace Relations experience
• Demonstrated Work Health & Safety (WHS) experience is essential
• Experience acting for employer clients across the public and/or private sector
• Strong litigation and advisory experience
• Excellent drafting, communication and client relationship management skills

For the Special Counsel position, you'll also have experience mentoring junior lawyers, leading complex matters and contributing to business development.
