Job Description

Lead Group has recently established a partnership with a renowned manufacturer of high-quality mining machinery and is now looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, ensuring the precise fabrication and welding of vital components for mining equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine and comprehend engineering requirements and drawings.
  • Use a variety of fabrication tools, such as presses, brakes, drills, and saws.
  • Metal parts must be cut, formed, and assembled in accordance with requirements.
  • Perform excellent MIG welding on a range of metals.
  • Uphold a tidy and well-organised workspace.
  • Follow all safety instructions.
Qualifications:
  • Trade certification in welding or fabrication (or comparable experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a welding or fabrication setting.
  • Working knowledge of large machinery and equipment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated aptitude at reading and analysing designs.
  • Outstanding MIG welding abilities.
  • Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to function both alone and collaboratively
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Must be able to do the job's duties, which include lifting large objects, and in good physical condition.
